- Home Office- Inputs during Detail Engineering, Involvement with Engineering Contractor in design phase for Reviewing Engineering documents for commissionability. Participate in P&ID Review, SIL & HAZOP study. - Preparing Project Commissioning Deliverables in accordance with the Project execution strategy. - Coordinate with PMT and PMC for commissioning documents approval and verifying compliance with agreed procedures. - Defining System Sub-system limits on drawings for Handover. - Manage and Leading a Multi-Discipline Commissioning Team. - Coordinating for the ICAPS/OPERCOM database population by inputting the check sheets, FTR (Functional Test Record) sheets and OTP (Operational Test Procedure), Commissioning Test Procedure (CTP). - Manage and coordinate availability of all documentation necessary for precommissioning/commissioning and handover activities for completeness of each system dossier and its consistency with agreed procedures. - Coordinate with Head Office for arrival of personnel, Vendors and Licensors as necessary. - Monitoring execution Schedules, plans, milestones, Reporting and monitoring pre-commissioning, commissioning progress in the ICAPS database. - Coordinate with Construction Manager for completion activity by systems sequence in order to ensure efficient and economical pre-commissioning starting condition of systems. - To bring to the Management’s notice, potential problems or delays and recommends solutions. - Provide assistance to the Commissioning Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument /Control groups to ensure that the all Mechanical Pre-Commissioning activities and dynamic Commissioning activity are completed in a safe manner. - Preparation for review / acceptance of the relevant N2-He leak test-packs required for the onshore & offshore N2-He leak test programmes within the onshore / offshore commissioning phases. - Conducting and Leading the Mechanical Completion (MC) walk-down, compiling and issuing the punch list for clearance and sign-off. - Conducting and Leading the Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) walk-down, compiling and issuing the punch list for clearance and sign-off. - Conducting and Leading Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) and Operations Readiness Review (ORR) walk down - Issuing the PSSR and ORR Punch list, sign-off the clearance and sign-off the Acceptance certificate. - Assist the client operation team during start-up.

- Assist Commissioning Manager in writing specific commissioning procedures, methods, prepare commissioning work packages and P&ID mark-up. - Supervising the pre-commissioning activities - water flushing, air blowing, steam blowing, leak testing, inerting. - Checking the trustworthy condition of reactors for catalyst loading. - Actively participating in catalyst loading of - de-sulphurizing reactor, Pre-reformer, Reformer, HT Shift reactor, LT Shift reactor. - Supervising the commissioning of pumps, compressors and turbines. - Supervising the steam system pre-commissioning and commissioning - Alkali boil-out/degreasing, refractory dry out. - Reporting the completed jobs and entering in the commissioning dossiers management database. - Monitoring checking of electrical and instrumentation loops thoroughness and shutdown/trip logics. - Checking control valve stroking, and shutdown valve functioning, Preparing DCS for operation by fine tuning of controllers. - Managing punch list actions of raising-clearing and sign-off, Preparation of final closeout report related to pre-commissioning, commissioning. - Conducting relevant work audits e.g. commissioning audit, RFC audits, HAZOP, HAZAN, RA - Providing technical support and training to the owner’s operations and maintenance department in the commissioning and start- up of new plants.

- Managing Mechanical Completion, Commissioning and Handover Deliverable documents/dossiers Preparation in accordance with CLIENT COMPANY rules and procedures; and in accordance with methodology fixed by Commissioning Authority of CLIENT COMPANY. - Pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up procedures, system, sub-system limit defining, preparing Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP), Check-sheets “A”, “B” and “C” for each discipline to carry out execution of pre-comm./comm. activities water flushing, air/steam blowing, inerting, purging, leak checks, static and dynamic tests, loop test, function test, solo run test, mechanical run test. - Developing pre-commissioning and commissioning methodology based on OPERCOM, OR&A, Developing Mechanical Completion and Commissioning Tracking Database for each discipline, compatible with ICAPS, WINPCS, and CCMS. Developing Operation Manual. - Ensuring OR&A process in the completion to achieve RFC and RFSU in the CSU and handover to Asset Operations. Assisting operations team during start-up. - Managing the multi-discipline construction and Commissioning team for mechanical Completion and Certification Process to minimize the punch list items. - Conducting Pre-DCC walk-downs and clearing punch list to achieve Discipline Completion Certificate (DCC), System Mechanical Completion Certificate (SMCC), Ready for Commissioning Certificate (RFC) - Conducting and Leading Ready for Start-up (RFSU) walk down, conducting PSSR and ORR walk down in the CSU process, compiling and issuing punch list. - Review of PC&C spares requirement, special equipment/tools requirement, and manpower mobilization requirement. - Focusing on the project deliverable for a successful handover. - Responsible for ensuring the project is administered and executed as designed in accordance to the highest ethical and safety standards and compliant to CLIENT COMPANY policies and procedures. - Confirm, Approve and Audit the PMC Plans and Procedures in relation to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing of facilities. - Review, Approve, and audit the individual project commissioning plans and procedures from Contractors. - Confirm and Audit Contractors have HSSE procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), to ensure the safety of personnel during pre-commissioning and commissioning. - Leads the PMC commissioning team in all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the project to ensure the proper schedule of pre-commissioning and commissioning sequences in order to achieve start-up sequence defined by project and field operations. - Review and modification as needed, of all CSU, PMC Commissioning Plans and Procedures. - Selection, mobilization and training of PMC commissioning personnel.

Plants worked : Cryogenic Recovery of LPG/NGL and Gas Distribution EPC Project- Gandhar - LPG/NGL Cryogenic Process Plant (Similar to LNG Process): Including Gas inlet facility, Gas Gathering Station (GGS), Gas Metering Station, Gas Dehydration Plant for dew point control, Chillers (MHE), Expander, Separators, LPG Column, NGL Column, LPG storage bullets. - Compressor Stations- including Booster Compressors for exporting the lean gas to consumers. - Gas Turbine driven Centrifugal Compressor. - Gas Distribution Pipelines- Including flooding, swabbing, drying and PIGGING inspection operations. - Utility Plants- Raw Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Cooling Tower, LP steam generating boiler, Plant air, Instrument Air and Nitrogen generation Plant, Flare, Fire Water. During this period I was having responsibilities of Commissioning execution and plant operation as below. - Supervising and solving the problems in the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and advancing to start-up as per plan and schedule in a safe and effective manner, within budget, on time and fulfilling the applicable Company Procedures and Technical Specifications. - Deputing the site commissioning team in carrying out water flushing, air/steam blowing, inerting, purging, conformity checks as per drawings, static and dynamic tests etc. - Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required, attending daily progress review meetings, addressing and solving the hurdles. - Managing Mechanical completion Check sheets, pre-commissioning and commissioning database, signing off certificates, conducting walk-downs, managing punch list, Preparation of final closeout report related to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up. - DCS and Field operation of process and utility plants.
